Angelika Taschen은 하이델베르그에서 독문학과 미술사를 공부하고 1986년 박사학위를 취득하였다. 1987년부터 TASCHEN에서 일하면서 건축, 사진, 디자인, 현대미술, 인테리어, 여행 등 많은 책을 출판했다.
