DOMUS는 약 75년 이상 세상에서 가장 영향력 있는 건축, 디자인 잡지로 환영받아왔다.
1928년에 밀라노의 위대한 건축가였던 Gio Ponti에 의해 창간되었다. 잡지의 핵심 지침은 아르데코, 현대 사조, (건축의) 기능주의와 2차 세계대전 후부터 팝까지, 포스트모더니즘과 후기모더니즘(late modernism)등 특정 시대의 스타일을 알게 하는 특별한 통찰력을 창조하는 것으로 남아있다.

The editors: Charlotte J. Fiell studied at the British Institute, Florence, and at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts, London, where she received a BA (Hons) in the History of Drawing and Printmaking with Material Science. She later trained with Sotheby’s Educational Studies, London.
Peter M. Fiell trained with Sotheby’s Educational Studies in London and later received an MA in Design Studies from Central St Martin’s College of Art & Design, London. Together, the Fiells run a design consultancy in London. They have lectured widely, curated a number of exhibitions and written numerous articles and books on design and designers, including TASCHEN’S Decorative Arts series, 1000 Lights, 1000 Chairs, Design of the 20th Century, Industrial Design A-Z, Scandinavian Design, Graphic Design for the 21st Century and Designing the 21st Century.
